Our Mission

As two women who aren't afraid to clean our plates, we're touring the Twin Cites to find the tastiest and most unique burgers these two food-loving cities have to offer.

The Challenge: To sample one burger from a different Twin Cities restaurant each week and evaluate the entire experience. Since our expanded food budget will limit our ability to purchase a new wardrobe, using bikes as a mode of transportation is a must.
The Burgers: We've developed a list based on recommendations from others, notoriety, and our own curiosity. Have suggestions? Please share.
The Evaluation: Contrary to the stereotypical "burger eater," we're here to savor every morsel and recognize a good burger for characteristics like creative flavor combinations and quality of ingredients. Because we all know a bad pickle can ruin an otherwise fabulous cheeseburger, we're paying attention to the details.
Why? Besides the fact that we like to know in advance what we're eating so we can spend days salivating over it, we're here to offer our female perspective on the Twin Cities' most sublime burger creations so you can make informed choices. So next time you have a burger craving, check here first. You can thank us later.

Cheeseburger Curriculum

Wish Cheeseburger 101 was part of our studies when we were in school. Kids these days just don't know how good they have it.

Gearing Up for Burgers

It's spring in Minnesota and winter is melting away day by day, albeit slowly. It's just about time to stop talking about burgers and start back on our mission. As you can see, we did a little spring cleaning on our blog - what do you think? Next up for cleaning are the bikes! Stay tuned for "Season 2" of our mission - we have big ambitions...and even bigger appetites.

Top 25 Burgers in the U.S.?

Today The Huffington Post features Food & Wine's list of the top 25 burgers in the nation, complete with photographs of each mouth-watering burger. I was thoroughly disappointed to find that not one MN burger is included in this prestigious list. We'll have to do something about that.

Click here to view the list. Warning: Viewing this list on an empty stomach may induce hunger pains.

Best Burger in the U.S.A.?

It's been a while since the Burger Babes have sat down to meticulously pick apart a Twin Cities burger. We've been busy. There are snow drifts out there that are taller than we are. The excuses are plentiful. This article passed along to me by a fellow burger (and deviled egg) aficionado may have just inspired us get back on our bikes and into the burger routine - and maybe even buy a plane ticket to L.A.
